Professional Activities
On a more personal note, while Dr. Whitacre was not born in Tucson, he grew up here and graduated from Sahuaro High School. He returned to Tucson in December of 2003 to establish a practice in breast surgery. His father, Dr. Wendell B. Whitacre, recently retired from a full-time practice in plastic surgery.
