Although many breast problems are benign, it is important to make sure any condition has been fully evaluated before deciding on a course of treatment.  Instead of simply "limiting" his practice to breast surgery, Dr. Whitacre believes that all of the best new  research and technology should be focused on improving the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.

At the Center, Dr. Whitacre reviews all results with you and makes sure you are fully informed so that, if treatment is needed, you can participate in those decisions.  The Center is dedicated to providing the best possible treatment for each individual patient.
