Books on Breast Cancer

In recent years, there has been a virtual explosion of information about breast cancer, which can make it very difficult to learn even the essentials about your cancer treatment.  There are many books on breast cancer, but these have been useful to many patients:

Breast Cancer for Dummies


One of the well-known "books for dummies" series, this book is actually co-authored by a well-known academic breast surgeon-Dr. Monica Morrow.  It is a very complete overview of the essential state-of-the-art treatments for breast cancer.

Susan Love's Breast Book (4th edition)

This is probably the single most complete reference which is not an actual medical textbook.  It is up-to-date and very complete, but is more detailed and harder to read than some patients prefer.
